BENZIE COUNTY BOARD OF ROAD COMMISSIONERS MEETINGS
The regular meetings of the Benzie County Board of Road Commissioners will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in 2010, at 9:30 a.m., unless they are changed by the Board of Road Commissioners. The meetings will be held at the Road Commission’s offices, 11318 Main St, Honor, Michigan.
The schedule is as follows:

This notice is posted in compliance with Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, the Open Meetings Act, MCL 41.72a, and the American with Disabilities Act. The Benzie County Board of Road Commissioners will provide necessary reasonable aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 30 days notice to the Benzie County Road Commission by writing or calling:

The Benzie County Road Commission will be holding a public hearing at the Benzie County Road Commission Office at 11318 Main Street, P.O. Box 68. Honor, Michigan on June 24th at 10:00 a.m. to discuss applications to USDA-Rural Development for Grant Funding to Purchase the following items: Fuel Pumps, ¾ ton pickup, one ton truck, and a tandem axle plow truck.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Benzie County Road Commission at 11318 Main St,
P O Box 68, Honor MI 49640 until 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, May 13th, 2010 for furnishing the following:
Installation of a 3 span Timber Bridge
(Pile driving, bracing, setting pier and abutment caps and setting deck panels)
2010 Asphalt Program (Approximately at total of 1,131 tons of 13A on three projects.)
Further information and specifications may be obtained at the Road Commission office. All proposals must be in sealed envelopes, plainly marked as to contents and the name of the bidder. Telephone or faxed bids will not be accepted.
The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids, and to award the bid in a manner deemed in the best interests of Benzie County.
