Public Hearing: Road abandonment petition: segment of Henry Road:

The Benzie County Board of County Road Commissioners will be holding a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Road conference room located in Honor, Michigan.

The purpose of this hearing is to listen to public input/comments regarding a road abandonment request for a half-mile east-west segment of Henry Road, which is located in Benzonia Township.

Public Hearing: 2025 Road Commission budget:

The Board of County Road Commissioners of Benzie County has scheduled a public hearing on Thursday, September 26, 2024 starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Road Commission board room located at 11318 Main Street, Honor Michigan.

The purpose of this hearing is to listen to public input/comments regarding the proposed 2025 Road Commission budget.

Parties interested in receiving an advanced copy of the proposed budget are asked to notify the Finance Manager/Secretary to the Board at bcrcclerk@benzieroad.net
